Just look at the gifts piled up on the altar in St Mary’s!
On the Feast of Christ the King this year (Sunday 25 November), our curate Kimberley, organised our first ever toy service.
Parishioners brought in brand-new toys in gift bags, which were blessed by the clergy before being taken down to Yates Court in Prescot, the Whitechapel Centre’s supported living scheme to accommodate homeless families with children in Knowsley.
We wish all the staff and residents a very merry Christmas and hope they will be as blessed to receive these gifts as we were to give them.
