The Vicar of Prescot, the Reverend John Taylor, writes:
You may have read in the press, or heard on the news, that churches are able to open for private prayer from Monday 15 June.
St Mary’s will be open for private prayer (drop-in) from 10am to 12 noon on Sunday 21 June. We are carrying out risk assessments, and social distancing and other precautionary measures will have to be observed.
St Paul’s is not yet open, due to repainting.
Please give careful consideration to your safety and that of your household. If you are particularly vulnerable, especially if you are in the high-risk category, please keep safe and pray at home.
