In the Parish of Prescot we are fortunate to have a stunning Jacobean church building, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, and we will be opening it to visitors for Heritage Open Days in September 2021.
The stunning edifice dates to 1610, with some parts going back almost 1,000 years. It is Knowsley’s only Grade I listed building.
You can drop in whenever you like during the advertised times and browse the building at your leisure. The days and times are:
- Saturday 11 September 10am-12 noon
- Sunday 12 September 1.30pm-3.30pm
- Saturday 18 September 10am-12 noon
- Sunday 19 September 1.30pm-3.30pm
All are welcome, but please note that children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
