Update, 9/9/22: Prescot Parish Church will be open to visitors from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday 10, Sunday 11, Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September as planned, but for private prayer, lighting of candles and signing of the Book of Condolence for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II rather than Heritage Open Days.
We are delighted to be taking part in Heritage Open Days once again by opening the beautiful church of St Mary the Blessed Virgin over two weekends this September.
Built in 1610, Prescot Parish Church is Knowsley’s only Grade I listed building. Inside, you’ll be able to view the stunning Jacobean interior at your leisure, or follow a free tour on your smartphone. Our heritage guides will be on hand to offer a friendly welcome and answer your questions.
Entry is free, although donations are always encouraged.
